The Associate of Science Degree in Business Studies is developed to help prepare students to perform marketing, accounting, office administration and management in different organizations. This is both a practical and theory-based programme. The Business Studies programme is offered over two years and is offered on a fulltime and part- time basis as well.
Matriculation Requirements
- Specify the normal entry requirements for the programme.
To be eligible for admission, candidates must meet the following matriculation requirements: Possess passes in five (5) subjects: English Language and Mathematics or a numerate subject are compulsory, and any other three subjects. Passes are accepted at GCE O’ Level (Grades A, B or C) CXC (General Proficiency Grade 1,2, or 3 (June 1998 or thereafter), and SSC (Range 4, or 5 National Assessment Level)
- Mature Entry
Applicants falling in this category must be over the age of twenty-five (25) with a minimum of five (5) years experience in a specialized area of the industry, for eg. Marketing, Accounts, Office Administration and Management. Applicants will be accepted based on his/her employment portfolio, as well as Certificates of Achievement, positions held along with job descriptions and community involvement.

Programme Duration and Credits
- The Associate of Science in Business Administration programme may be completed within 2 years Fulltime and 3 years part-time which includes summers.
- The programme has a total of 70 credits
